Dave and Katie Update

Dave is remodeling/updating the kitchen. It all started with the tile, we had the tile cleaned and a color seal applied. Which just changed the look of the kitchen. Next, Dave took down the drop ceiling and scraped the popcorn off the ceiling and painted it white. Now he is painting the walls with a Venetian Plaster it looks awesome. April 19th we are having granite counter and a new sink installed and a pantry and desk in the breakfast nook. We are very excited about the changes.
I am spending my first 3 nights away from Emma :( I had to come to Charleston, WV for work meetings. The good thing is my schedule is booked solid so it feels like home, but my two favorite people are not with me. Not sure if Emma knew I was leaving or what, but she has been sleeping through the night for a month now. But last night she was up from 10:45 to 12:30. My alarm was set for 3:15a.m. I guess she just wanted to sleep in her Momma's arms before I left for the week. I am exhausted tonight but I am just thinking about last night. I'm ready to be home!
